Pencils
Next, I used the vector object tools in Photoshop to define my vanishing points, and line up a regular grid panel to draw the tables along. I printed all this lightly in blue on a sheet of 11×17 paper and drew the pencils over the thumbs. Once the pencils were back in Photoshop, I added a few more guides (in blue) before proceeding.
